The 6th hole provides two distinct holes for your front nine and back nine.
If playing to the short straight-away green, your tee shot is relatively open.
Fescue lies to the left and to the right of the fairway.
A good tee shot leaves a mid to short iron into a small green that is protected short right and long left by two bunkers.
Playing to the longer green, the 6th hole plays as the #1 handicap hole for men and a par 5 from the forward(red) tees.
Your tee shot must be played straight-away favouring the right side of the fairway, as this hole doglegs left.
If your tee shot is played left to shorten the hole, trees and fescue may obstruct your view of the green.
Once in the fairway, your second shot is to a narrow green that slopes from back to front and is protected by a deep bunker to the left and a bunker short right.
A par here is truly a great score.
