Quite possibly one of the best par 3's in the entire Niagara Region.
Rio Vista's most photographic hole and our signature hole.
Always played into the prevailing wind, this hole requires a crisp struck mid to long iron (some days a metal wood) into a small elevated green.
Your tee shot must first carry the winding creek in front and right of the green.
Make sure you have enough club as any shot coming up short will always roll back down the slope to a collection area short of the green.
The green is sloped back to front and chipping and pitching to this tiny green is always difficult.
In 2007 Rio Vista added a new back tee deck for your second nine.
Now playing as a par 4, this hole now becomes a solid risk/reward short par 4.
Big hitters can attempt to drive the green. However, playing a long iron short of the creek and leaving a short iron into this green is the safer route.
